this is the dining room inspiration....i got the color. Glidden Peacock blue and i'm SOOO excited. painters are coming saturday morning to do office and dining room. kitchen is on sunday. pictures will be up soon to show progress. i might need to put a little more accent colors than the above picture but its definitely a starting point. and it looks like the floors are brown so if i just get a light colored area rug i can use a brown table and brown chairs, right?!?!?! question: do all the chairs need to be completely on the dining rug? same question for living room...i don't want our sofa legs scratching the wood floors!
Hi there, Saw your message on my blog about inexpensive area rugs. I haven't paid over $150 for any rug in our home. I have bought the majority of ours from Craigslist (patience required) and bought the chain link one in our family room from a Pottery Barn outlet clearance section. Ebay might possibly be another good source. It takes time, but you can find rugs on a budget! Good luck.
