upholstery project???

i bought this for $15...i know....I KNOW!!!  AND its comfy.  I KNOW!!!!!  but, do i try to recover this myself or bring it somewhere and possibly ruin the low, low price tag of it?!?!?  truth be told....i'm a little hesitant to reveal this to brett, knowing i'm going to get some push back....but it was ONLY $15!!!!!
a tutorial would be great right about now....

    I say bring it somewhere, it looks a little complicated! But if you are up for the challenge....Go for it!
